Our Story

Our brand originated from the development of a dual-layer grill design that channels fat away from open flames to prevent flare-ups while enhancing flavour through vapourisation. This technological innovation formed the foundation of the business, differentiating it from conventional barbecues by focusing on the mechanics of cooking rather than solely on heat control.
The grill system was subsequently introduced to the market in 2009, marking the transition from concept to commercial product. Its distinctive design established a new approach to outdoor cooking, combining improved cooking performance with a safer and more efficient grilling experience.

By 2010, the business had entered mass production and achieved wide retail distribution, evolving from a small independent operation into a nationally recognised brand. A licensing model also enabled the technology to reach international markets, extending its presence beyond the UK.
Throughout the early and mid-2010s, the business expanded its distribution across garden centres, specialist barbecue retailers, and major retail chains. During this period, it established a strong reputation for its "no flare-up" grilling technology, appealing to consumers seeking ease of use and consistent cooking performance. Product development also accelerated, with the introduction of innovations such as hybrid barbecues combining gas and charcoal cooking, alongside modular cooking systems that offered greater versatility.

During the late 2010s, the product range continued to expand and became fully integrated into a larger outdoor living portfolio, providing the resources and infrastructure to support continued growth, product development and market expansion.
Since 2020, the range has evolved to include hybrid grills, outdoor kitchen solutions and an expanded selection of cooking accessories. Today, it is recognised as a well-established UK barbecue range, offering mid-to-premium products that combine innovative grilling technology with versatile cooking solutions. The original focus on reducing flare-ups while enhancing cooking performance remains central to the design philosophy, delivering a safer, more efficient and enjoyable outdoor cooking experience.
